Hi,I also have had quite a few experiences,one quite frightening. The first was when I worked at Heathrow airport and actually saw a ghost on a plane at night.
I would love to investigate the council buildings in town and the old court house but I can`t do it on my own and I don`t know anyone brave enough to come with me.

Hi, I worked there for a while and have experienced several things, both in the old courts and the buildings in Guildhall Road which are part of the site ( known as the old jail block as it used to be the jail). The cleaners there have interesting stories to tell too.
If you could get permission it would be well worth an investigation, though I doubt whether the County Council who own it would be willing to give it.

Hi,Great site.Have you tried the old council buildings in town.If you go down Angel lane to the rear car park,you can see the framework of the old gallows in the wall.This building is said to be very haunted.
Hi! Am a bit gutted that I just looked at your public events page and that you are due to investigate The Old Black Lion and that it's sold out! Should've joined your site quicker! Hi, I used to work at St. Crispins Hospital in the evenings. Many a time I have seen unexplained things out the corner of my eye, only to investigate and found no-one there. Once when taking a short cut through an unused locked ward with a friend we saw a man crouching down by a wall, it was dark at the time but we could see him with no problem. we told one of the male nurses, but he said that no-one without a key could get in. He checked and it was empty. Lots of staff saw things. A very spooky place.
